About the association

We're building Marrakech's cycling community.

ROULY is an initiative of Dar Gnawa Museum, a Moroccan non-profit association, promoting sustainable micromobility, road safety and active lifestyles — for and with the people of Marrakech.

Our story

Why ROULY exists

Marrakech is a city made for bikes: mostly flat streets, sunshine almost all year and a heritage best discovered slowly.

Yet most bike offers here are designed for tourists, while residents face traffic, expensive leisure options and few safe ways to ride. Students, families, young professionals and women in particular have been left out.

ROULY was created to close that gap. We bring bike rentals, guided experiences, training and community events together in one place: affordable for locals, welcoming for visitors and open to everyone.

ROULY is an initiative of Dar Gnawa Museum, which also runs PhiDoc, a platform for PhD students and researchers.
